My 2000 blaster idles but as soon as i touch the throttle it boggs out and if i hold it too long i dies i release it idles like normal. what might this be.
Sounds like an easy fix. Clean your carb, clean your reeds, and clean your airfilter. I would just clean everything first, could be like others said a broken reed, but hopefully not.
Sounds like a stuck choke, or reeds. But like mentioned earlier, i would check and clean the Carb, Air Filter, and Reeds. If none of that is the problem, then i would look at the TORS. I removed mine and have never had a fuel/oil/bogging problem since. Its very easy to do..
okay still havent figured out what the problem is i cleaned the carb thoroughly and cleaned the pipe and replaced a crank ceal and it is still doing this should i look at the tors next
TORS would have been the very first thing I woulda tried and probably could have saved you a lot of work. Then if that did not work then I would have delved into cleaning the carb.
can someone please explain to me what the tors is....i was having the same problem with my laster and i called a local shop and they told me that the parking break sensor was sticking.....they told me to take the front hood plastic off and disconect a conector consisting of a black a yellow and black and a yellow wire....i did this and it took care of the problem
