Porting will wake up your motor and give you the punch and snap that you want. But going to a 68.25 is pointless. You will see NO power gain AT ALL. It just lessens the life of your top end. I have a 240 Big Bore stroker thats ported and it can scare me sometimes. So as for the bore, I would save your money and get a porting job and 240 kit.
