^^^^ yeah i was wondering the same thing, thats not the "metals" paint right? did you try that at all? best of luck with your head pipe, i tried to paint my snowmobile exhaust with chevy oarnge engine paint and it got COOKED. this go round i use 1300 degree grill paint and it is holding up like a factory job!! i might paint my whole frame with it come winter it doesnt scratch or anything and kinda soaks in like a laquer. quad it looking great man and coming along quickly. it took me 7 months to nickle and dime mine together to where it is now and i still need a few touches.

Thanks guy, it means a lot to hear positive feed back. No its not the krylon blue yet...it didnt look good with the bare metal, so I primed it, then used the blue....then it looked even more tarded so....I primed it gray, and the blue is rust protector I got from advanced auto.....im gonna put the krylon x metal over it I think. Im gonna test it on my old handle bars first..they look like my frame right now..you always make somthing to test on along the way...just so you guys know....the x metal paint is more clear than blue, i sh*t you not...its like a clear coat so I think it will look cool over it all....but dont know yet.

Well sh*t ...pretty much all I need now are front shocks, tires and maybe rims and my engine work done and its all done, its killing me watching this paint dry though...weather here sucks latley

Got my frame coated again, this time used the blue x metal...looks dam sweet...its sorta dark and bright at the same time...This is what its gonna look like boys...lol Still gotta coat the frame again nother can of x metal in 7 days...lol....ya im going black on 3 shades of blue...should look cool with polished handle bars and nerfs and front bumper and grab bar...but there is the idea.....it has some more drying to do now...I:I

Got my frame all done ...last coat ...thank god.....looks good it reacts weird to a flash/light when taking a pic of it...lol Got my bars together, grips look better blue than red....see the skulls. Got my nerfs in the mail today...little sh*tier than pic on ebay...lol but they can be used and are shiny and blue... it will work....I:I

looks killer bro, keep up the good work, like the paint and thanks for the idea on how to extend the swinger. it wont be as hard to trim the block though, ill just take it to work and put it on the mill. im glad to see your son wearing safty glasses while using the wire wheel...those things f*cking hurt when they hit you in the face.

Well got more of the bike back together....a arms are back on trying to figure out how to mount the rear shock, and I want to keep the bike low like I was racing mx , just dont know cause its sitting up on a table....

Well I think i figured it out.....looks sorta ok...just dont know if it might get in a bind...if it works out, im gonna tack weld the spacer to the swiger...clean it up some...lol

I know, I know need tires...lol just put the old ones back on to push it around the shed...lol Its comming together...lol I put the crappy shocks back on the front just so I can move it around...im getting 03 660r fronts there headed this way in the mail...lol There almost 2 inches longer so the front wont be so flat after on.
