1984 YZ 490 need info

I had a YZ 490 back around '89 or '90 (I forget what year the bike was, I bought it used) and that thing was a monster in all respects.
Hard as heck to start, usually took me and my 300lb buddy dozens of kicks and multiple pairs of shoes to get it started, lol.
Once started though, that thing would tear your arms off. Way way way too much bike for my skill level at the time.... or right now for that matter.
It was a fricken beast !
trudat....they can and will kick back.. good boots it can launch you over the bars....tennis shoes it will break your foot... mke sure the bars are turned so if it dows kick back you knee doesn't hit..your knee will break before the bars....
aint that the truth phragle!! my buddys trx 250r with the lrd 350 bb power valve kit is like that... it tosses my 255 pounds around like ima 10 year old kid!!!! and blew out the bottom of my brand new boots trying to kick that thing over..... my cr250r was almost as bad!! you see vids on youtube of guys kicking them big bikes over and standing up on the kicker and slammin there weight down just to get them kicked over
i have a dt 400 bottom that needs a clutch case gasket and should be gone through anyway but ill let it go cheap. shipping is a killer on these.
Hell man if you want speed get a ktm 495. Fastest producition bike ever made they do 123.7 mph stock!!!

hahah ok this realy discourages me to get one. my whole 150 pounds trying to get it over dont think would work to well. ill just get one as a show piece haha. any info on the old yamaha yz 250 with them power valves?

finnaly got to see that video how tall are these 490's? cause trying to kick these things over like 4 times bike leaning on me trying to kick it over will be hard.
im 5'11'' and i have to lean a cr250r over alil to kick it... or plup my fat ass on the seat to compress the suspension
