Hey Ken I am a fellow builder, novice though but still love to build. I have worked on small engines for about 15 years and I am just now getting into power sports. I have rebuilt a 2007 yzf 250 and fell in love with the fact that I could build. If I could I would like to get your number and pick your brain a little. I have a few questions about my blaster and you seem to be the man on this site. Also I want to build some rep on the site in a bad way. I have raced moto x for a couple of years and always had a mechanic but he was a dick and he is the guy that made me want to build myself. I am expereinced in alot of motor work with stuff like mowers, tillers, weedeaters etc. but I want to show my talent on my ride but......NEED SOME ADVICE lol anyway My cell number is 270-625-6973. I got the 400ex bolt and bushings. I had to do a little grinding but they worked great!! Thanks ken.
Hey ken. my name is matt. I am doing the 400ex shock swap on my blaster and i would like to get your bushings. i have the stock honda top bolt and nut so i dont think i need the bolt? i think the two bushings should be it. Can you please send me payment info and the price. Thanks.

yo bro got any bushings fabed up?Hi Ken, Im new to this world. I see your in CT, and you seem like the man to talk to about these engines. I recently purchased an 02 blaster for my son and the thing came with the engine out of it. Missing the Piston, and in 3 pieces. I was going to attempt to reassemble, but Im not sure where to start. Im mechinically inclined, and have the tools, but I really dont want to screw this thing up. I was told it just needed a new piston, but I was also told it was a big bore, Im not sure how to find out what size piston to get, and I was told not to mess with the bottom end, but im a little nervous about rebuilding only part of the motor. Im in CT, ive called a few places but the labor seems pricey, even without the parts, Is this something I should try myself or should I have it done by a pro? Do you do engine rebuilds? Any suggestions? thanks
