I would like to upgrade the rear shock to a yfz 450 shock and was wondering what all is required for this mod. I know the shock's lower mount needs moved to shorten the total length some. I just wondered if the airbox needs modified or if there would be any other issues of the shock hitting somewhere. Thanks in advance.

I read all the other threads i could find about it and one mentioned that it hit the exhaust but no one else had said anything about that. Just wanted to be sure it would work without having to modify anything on the blaster.

it probably will hit the exhaust , mine did, simple fix put some washers as spacers on the silencer mount bolts to set it out of the way a lil bit. im also experimenting with a ebay rear end lowering kit to get rid of the extra height the shock adds

Do you have pics? The silencer pipe runs before the frame rail, so how can you space it out?
