Yamaha Blaster not starting

i think i tweeked everything correctly hopefully in the morning the quad will run. Will let you guys know how it goes...thanks for the fast feedback on christmas, Merry christmas by the way. :DI:I

Should I wait a little bit after I clean my spark plugs to start it up or should I just start it up?

you cannot just clean a fouled 2 stroke plug,
when fouled, oil gets up in between the elctrode and porcelein, causing it to fire internally instead of at the tip.
i have had some luck "cooking" that oil out with a torch, but cleaning it externally does not restore it to working order like it does on a 4 stroke engine.

what am i supposed to be looking for, somone said on another forum that this is the problem "you will have to remove the cylinder head, then tap the piston til it moves(rubber or leather mallet) Then remove the jug and piston, You will most likely have to go to a .25 over piston and a bore job." should i do as that person said? sounds logical?

Several different ways to go around the block. At this point, pull the exhaust off of the engine and look up into the cylinder through the exhaust port. You will either see the piston skirt or the inside of cylinder. It will either look nice and pretty I:I or UGLY and scarred X(:o. Doing this first will save buying any gaskets at the moment. If all looks fine, then pull the clutch cover (after you drain oil). Look for anything broke or loose.

if you flip the quad up on it's side you can pull the clutch cover without draining the oil. depending on what kind of oil you run that sh*t can get expensive

thanks a lot guys will try this in the morning around 10:15 will get back to you guys soon!

10:15 eh? Pretty assured for a guy who couldn't find his sparkplug.
With the spark plug out.
Try t'roll the Blaster along in gear and see if you can get the crank t'roll over and the piston t'roll up and down?
You will hear the piston moving through the sparkpug hole.

Do you get what I am saying? :)

haha that manual is helpful :) and i tried already rocking it back and forth and rolling it with and without the spark plugs but the kick start wouldnt un-jam.

If someone used gasket sealer on it you might try "lightly" tapping on the side of the cover with a rubber hammer while pulling it.... also double check that you did remove all the screws
