okay i ripped my motor off and put a new crankcase on and all new gaskets and seals and bearings because my case was broke and i had an air leak somewhere causing the blaster to idle very high, i got a wiseco piston and rings put in and bored it out 20 over and it was idleing good for about two days then it started the high idle again, and i noticed my carb was leaking gas so i changed the gasket at the bottom and it still did it and i messed with the idle screw turned it down alot and it idles now but everytime my throttle cable gets pulled on or anything like even when i turn the wheels it starts to idle high again then when i put the wheels straight it goes back down anybody know what it could be?:-/

i adjusted my throttle cable and it worked but now my blaster will start and idle then it will start to idle a litttle bit high and shut off... but i think it may be my idle screw cause it just turns and turns and doesnt do anything it doesnt get tight or loose could that be my problem?

if your on a stock carb the idle screw will turn for damn ever, it adjusts so slowly that it feels like its not doing anything. at one point i have taken the tors carb to covers off and inspected the insides for bindage. its not hard just dont strip the screws. while open turn the idle screw and make sure its working.

okay i will do that i have another tors so if that idle screw is f*cked up ill put my other tors on lol does this sound like the problem though?I:I

it might be a lot of different things but inside the box is two seperate cables that control the slide.
when i trouble shoot i start at one spot and work my way down the line of whatever it is. i think throttle sticking could be cable related so i would check all the cable connections first, then move on to sticky slide possibilities. then maybe jetting if you have changed anything recently. any new mods ?

yes i recently put a new crankcase on with all neww gaskets and seals and bearings and a wiseco piston and rings and got it bored out 20 over and ive had my fmf sst full exaust on for a lil while

hey bud so it sounds to me like your running very lean. with that exhaust i would say around a 290-320 ish, definately take the main jet out and see what it is. and check the pilot too
and dont be doing any plug chops till you get a bigger main jet than 230. thats stock and if so it could blow up on you if its too lean
