i orded my dyno port exhust on the 25 of july and just got it today on the 12 of august. it would be here the 5 then the 8 and just got it on the 12.. now i open it and love it BUT!!!!! it wont fit . The pipe is a 1 1/2 off the exhust port . and smacks my cylinder head getting that close. tried with the clamp on then with off ,still no luck. i have to call tommarow. point is that is there something im not doing like taking tie rod off first or something, and has anybody had this problum with dyno port.

can you post pics . if you don't know how tiny pics works really well and there is a right up on it on the pictures and videos page

In order to put my dyno port on I had to remove the right a-arm assembly (both top & bottom) and the shock. Its a tight fit even with those items removed

ok ill try but dam man it looks sketchy.ill post pics after if it does or dosent work . follow it on my rebuild i started its called joe rockets build . give some advise on how to rig my carb problum too if you got any ideas .. it has bolt on filter thanks

hand built pipes man, ya gotta love em every single one is different. Mine fits like a dream but it sounds like your having more issues than that. pics would be the most help.

unreal..i hate my pipe. got it to go one but it needed a little twist. but i had to hammer the clamp on the pipe hard to get on and i need to pull out and bash the clamp just to guess the line up ..pulled out both arms shock and tie rod and got no play with pipe . like none. so im gunna just take the front engine mounts off and rock the engine back to get line up.maybe ill get the whore in.its like building a ship in a bottle.some beer, pantera, and some loob and shes mine.

what you need to do is go into a carpeted room with a pipe that will fit into the end of the pipe that meets the cylinder, thn use the pipe to gently bend the pipe in the direction it needs to go to fit, had to do it to mine and trust me those dyonports are a puzzle to get on. i dont have to take any parts off to install but it takes time.
you could try with the stinger end under the frame and stick the big end up where it needs to be and snake it in, you have to snake it in there with the clamp off then put it on when you get close to the cylinder, then play around and dont get frustrated. if its not working just stop and take a step back. you'll get it

Mine was a tight fit and i did what you did. I also took the front mount bolt out and lifted the engine. I hated it also...bad AND THEN I figured out all I had to do is cut 1/4 off the flange (that bolts to the cylinder) life is great now. Still a biotch to get into the frame, but if I put the back in front of the coil first the front goes in. I can get it in fairly easy now. Oh ya, you gotta hold your tongue just right too! Hope it helps.

Most right side pipes are a little tricky to install the first time but these ones are always a pain in the ass.
