would you trade to this?

imo, the problem with those old street bike motors is that they don't make alot of power and there heavy. Not really a high demand for them. I think you'd be better off placing an ad willing to trade your bikes for aftermarket blaster parts.

nobody around here really mods a blaster, that's the only non stock blaster i've seen in over a year. i'd be better off selling the bike and using the cash but it isn't going so well. the bike values for 1100 and i can't even get 600 out of it.

welcome to the world of re-selling dirt machines
dont trade, get what ya can for the bikes, they're worth more, even at a reduced price, than that scrap pile

alright thanks for keeping an eye out for me guys, anytime i am looking at something to trade to i always post on here to see what everybody thinks. tomorrow i'm going to look at a dirtbike and if it's in good enough shape i'm getting it. he said it was just rebuilt but needs put in time (lets you guys know it's a 4 poke), needs front brake handle, seat cover, and side panels. i'm leaving it there and will put up pics and everything if i get it and when i get back.

EDIT: sorry for the book i wrote haha didn't mean for it to be that long but oh well

also, i'll be sure to look everything on the bike over and look the engine over to be sure everything is in good shape as he says.

Any CL pics? Sounds better then the first POS. Lol.

Also... patients is a virtue. If you aren't positive about this bike, don't get it. You may be glad you didn't.

it's not from CL, and the guy is just about 20 mins from me so if i don't get it no big deal. also i am buying this one not trading for it, i am going to do it like i did my blaster, buy a POS and fix it up all nice and purdy lol.

EDIT: @xKroniK13x the handguards on your blasty are the same handguards i use on all my dirtbikes haha

Sounds like you have a plan!

And yeah, they're dirtbike handguards but my brother put them through hell and I really liked them so I got a pair for my blaster. I had to cut the right one a little to make it fit, but I really like them now.

yeah man i've really thought it through and checked everything out all that's left is to see it in person.

my local honda dealer supplies them handguards and i have them on my 2007 crf100f, 2008 crf150f, and 2007 crf250x

By the sounds of it that bike has been laid down? Side panels, brake handle, and seat... Just watch out for what you get. Its easier to pay an amount of money for something than to sell it for that much you know.

alright guys, the bike i went to look at was a 1992 Honda XR250R. motor was just rebuilt (i even tore it down to check) and everything was brand new, the body needs a little work though. i bought it for $250 dollars. i already went through the motor to see if it needed anything and it was missing a few bolts, the carb boot, and the flanges for the headers. i ordered everything for it and so far am in about $140-150 dollars. my first priority is to get everything on the motor and get it on the bike and running. it does have spark and i have to take his word that it was getting gas. it is air/oil cooled. i will get pics in a bit, if not tonight then i'll get them tomorrow.
