Definitely go for it. But just know that when people say something has carb problems, or the carb needs to be cleaned or something simple, there are usually other reasons for the motor not running.

Hell yea just be weary if the guy seams like an idiot there's probalbly a good amount of work to be done.But thankfully carbs are easy to fix and clean up as long as you dont mess with the float or take out the o-ring unless it's bad. But yea bringthat comp tester it's numbers will give you a good idea of the bikes history

ok turns out it is an 04 not 06. also has vforce reeds, dg push bar couple other aftermarket mods. compression tester showed 62 psi, used that to talk him down the price of top end rebuild. needs a couple other small items such as clutch lever as he tried to 'customize' and shortened too much. plan on a winter rebuild for it with my boys, strip it down paint and rebuild. guess i should start a rebuild thread with some before pics, huh?
