Works banshee shocks

hey guys, i have a mates bike we planning on giving an edit in june, he is looking for a good, cheap front shock upgrade, extra a arms are out of the question. now i know a lot of guys run with Works, which model do you recommend for an upgrade for trail - remember he is on student budget so im thinking the cheapest Works shocks. also, how would banshee Works shocks be? too hard perhaps? and a comparison between blaster Works and stock banshee?

If anyone has a pair of stock banshee or Works give me a shout

i run banshee works and they are great, i believe that the blaster works are the same as shee ones, just different valving

they are set up for rider weight, but both bikes run the same set, mine i got from a guy who was close to the same size as me so they work great. if you wiegh 150 lbs and get ones set up for a 250 lb rider they will not feel good for you
