Wont start

well me and mi freind duece were riding like we normally do, and when i slowed down it made this gargling noise, :-/so i stoped and it just shut off and wouldnt start back up, i thought maby it was the spark plug but i put three new ones and none of them woked so i figured it would be a good idea to ask u guys before i go mad.....

do you have spark?

is there fuel in the tank?

is the tors still there?

is fuel getting to the carb?

is fuel getting to the cylinder?

what do the reeds look like?


we need more info!

ill have to get back to you guys on that, fuel is getting all the way to the cylinder but there was no spark in any of the plugs i tried and the gas tank is halfway full

o yeah, what's the compression gauge read?

check to see if there's power getting to the coil. check the source coil resistance.


the manual has info on what all the values should be

coil is fine,but i did find a grounding wire next to my coil that wasnt attached to anything, and ive got no compression:-/

you have ZERO compression??? sounds liek you need to pull the top end and see whats up...

get a compresion tester and see what you are running to compression

hey ppl its a guess, it was a guess i can tell by checking the flywheel(how was i supposed to know if a canooter valve was real???) how do u know i didnt check anything, and i was just breaking it in from the rebuild i finished 1 week ago,i guess im going to have to give rep to the only guys who are helping me here(brandoz28 ,Super Noober,and timsyfz )....... so brandoz i did get a pic of the grounding wire thou, maby u can tell me where it goes.... by the way im not the best guy to be f***ing aorund with right about now
