I plan on letting my kid ride one of our blasters in the winter if he wants to. My question is do I need to jet up for the temperature drop? I just don't want him to stick a piston due to a lean condition. I recall friends who raced KT100 kart motors cold sticking a motor on a cold morning by running the same jet as they ran the previous afternoon in practice.

Theres an easier way than plug chopping. Jet up until it starts blubbering then drop down one size, you can do that with the needle too. Write down the changes you've made. Then you can start looking at the plug if you want.
