Will a Yamaha jet ski piston work in a blaster atv.

Someone said the are using a 74.80 mm Piston in their blaster atv??

i think HJR uses a jet ski piston in his 265cc blaster. It seems that alot of pistons will interchange between 2strokes. I rebuilt a 82' IT 175 a while back that had a kawasaki KDX 175 piston.

the benefit is if you have a spare jetski piston but a fouled blaster piston, replace at no charge lol

Not always true. The dome shap can be different, pin to top, the skirt shaped different and the big difference on a 2-stroke is where the ring ends are located for your ports. I run a Kawi snowmobile piston in my yz310 kart engine and it takes some mods to make it work. Be careful & do your research.

Also piston windows can be different, if its reed induction, rotory valve or power port, cut away and so on.

can you even buy a piston over 73mm for a blaster? like a 73.25

wesico will pretty much custom build you a piston to your specs. A long time ago they built a buddy of mine a set of custom Suzuki samurai forged dished pistons for his turbo zuk project it wasnt cheep but they did it.
