I'm wanting to make my blaster a bit wider in the front....I'm not a real aggressive rider, but I am a large guy....so I'd like to have a little more stability when I'm takin turns.... I've seen the widening kids on ebay and other places and they are about half of what wider a arms .....just wasn't sure how strong the kits are...

anyone use a widening kit and if so what's your opinion?

Quite a few members on here including me will vouche for the Diamondj widen kit its awsome. I mean if you got the dough go for the a-arms but if your on a budget the kit is a great choice. Also i might be sellin mine if your interested, pm me.

the diamond j kit is nice. i run one. i will one day get the extended a-arms. dont buy that diamond j kit on ebay Buy It Now. they well it cheaper at their web site. also keep your eyes open. I have seen a set or burguards +4's go for $250 shipped on ebay before.

wider a-arms gets my vote. moving the stock arms out further can cause problems down the road with steering geometry and will also increase bump steer the further you take the tie rod ends (steering side) from the a-arm mounts.
