why twist throttles belong on bikes

That was out in Ohio I'm pretty sure. I was at that race and we were watching him. If that was the same race it was my neighbor and friend Adam Rogers. He cracked the helmet but got away without a concussion. The front bumper was TRASHED and the frame was slighty bent. But I'll still run my twist grip. If I ever buy another carb I will switch but not otherwise. That happened to me once when getting used to it. Since I got good I haven't had 1 problem.

To each his own... I learned how to ride ATV's on a Banshee with a twisty and got good at it. Probably gonna run one again on the next 'Shee I own. Sure, accidents happen, but that's just part of the risk of riding IMO.

When the accidents are due to the twist throttle that's another story. Coupling a Banshee with a twist throttle is about suicide when that powerband kicks in. Plus when you are taking hard left left turns, how do you lean into them effectively without twisting the throttle?

For me, it just took some getting used to. Lots and lots of practice. Plus, when I go fast on a 'Shee, its usually in a straight line. The one I learned on was all stock in the suspension department and we all know how poorly (at least when compared to other, newer quads) a stock Banshee handles.
