who'd be interested in a dt200 motor?

Again power valve does so much nothing in this motor its not even funny. I rode one once where it was pinned and then we hooked it up you could not even feel the difference. I believe the diffrence in power in this motor is purely timing. Have you guys seen how much timing this thing runs because its water cooled? its like 30 degrees total. Blasty runs like 15 or something. Thats a huge gain in power from timing alone.

really for all the work and expense, i'd either do an la sleeve big bore and keep the blaster stuff in it, or do a yz250 swap if i was bent on liquid cooling

I say get a cdi box from one and run it on a blasty and find out ;) just run c16 or the like.

I am ordering the cdi box from yahoo auctions japan now my friend will sh*t it over to me. I will prove this is why the dt200 makes 10-15hp more than the blasty. I will warm up the blaster on the dyno at work. Swap cdi boxes drop in c16 and run a rip with the dt200 cdi. I am sure long term it will over heat the blaster motor but for 2-3 pulls it will be fine.
