Wont be racing til saturday i just got my jets for the pwk today and theres no port work its a bonestock vitos240bbk with a 72.5mm piston and all the bolt ons.

Your going to have a hard time without port work. If he is a bad rider than you might pull it out. Dont go any farther than 300ft or he has the advantage, launch in the highest gear you can, which without port work is probably 2nd. Hope the blasty comes out on top.

idk man. idk how the non ported vitos kits run. i would think it would pull 14/40 gearing with 20" tires just fine though. good luck!
and like will said a 2nd gear launch will help out. with the gearing you got it should come out in 2nd pretty hard i would think.

I'm interested in the outcome, but it dont look good for you bro. I think a non ported vitos kits alone is good for about 8 HP, and a stock blaster is good for 17 HP and a piped blaster is good for about 20 HP. So i will guess that your around 25 to 28 HP, if your lucky you may have 30 HP.. If your were ported with a good trail port you may have 32 to 35 HP. A piped 400ex is good for about 28hp, and a cammed 400ex will have more HP. Your gearing is going to KILL you, go to 14/40. What size tire are you running???
From what I know my blaster is pretty much stock, but still launches as well in 3rd as it does in 1st ?

Me and mike raced mike has a 400ex unfortunately he decided to be a showoff and hit a jump he set up on the trail we were on and he landed wrong and it f**cked up his axel housing

Ok we all went to south fork dirt riders and raced on the flat track and pro track flat track was no problem we lined up and i had no problem staying anywhere from 2-4 quads ahead pro track with all the jumps and what have you was a different game id get ahead of him and then hed launch that thing much farther than me and catch up he never did pull past and leave me if i wasnt nipping at his heels i was just ahead of him.As we all know stock blaster shocks suck balls and im stock up front with a 400ex shock in the rear so i wasnt trying to launch up real high on the jumps and instead keep the tires planted for traction and to keep moving.
This was all the while actually tuning with the keihin on it which i dont like it moves the power way farther in to the upper rpms and i like it mid to low.i ended up doing two jet swaps down to a 168 from a 172 it was just so rich and not running like it should have.
I wouldnt say i beat his brains outon the pro track but for a blaster i dont think im ashamed or embarassed.With more tuning and better suspension the pro track would be more fun.But that flat track i tore his ass up!Id pitch that ass end around on the turns and nail it and slide side ways i could hear that loud ass 400 try to do the same but he just couldnt do it like the blaster did.I rode it afterwards and tried the same things on it i did on mine and it feel like about 3x's as heavy as my blaster so i bet thats why i got him on the flat track.
All in all it was fun.Had no issues til i got my big goofy ass on a KX65 and was wheelying it and lost it scraped up my knee.lol

Sounds like the little Blaster shone, get yourself some good front shocks and whoop that 4 joke.
Yea im putting a stock carb back on it for low end thump and letting the old lady ride it from now on.
im focusing on the banshee it fits me alot better i feel and look like a monkey f**king a foot ball at 6'3 235lbs shes 5'2 120lbs so its much more fitting for her.
But yea i was proud of my little 240cc a buncha people wanted to know wtf i had did to it and were under the impression blasters were weak even the 400ex.Itll be a good little toy for the old lady to get out on.

Holly sh*t your running that thing so rich. You would of done much better with a 158 or 155 main raceing that 4 poke.
Thats odd, i never ran lean with a 158 and i had all the goodies done to the motor.
