who thinks this is a good trade?

Looks good. That shifter doesn't look stock.Maybe stock from another machine or they bent the blaster one way out. I would deffinately get a stator cover on there.

I made a steel plate, I may still have it, that bolted to the cylinder. I used a cut piece of rubber to seal it.

thanks banshee dave I was thinking of that use piece of innertube for seal you can feel the differende in the texture of this port and my other 1 if this motor checks out good its going in the build

thanks herp I was kinda wondering that about the porting.im gonna hopefully have the leak test done tomorrow.then put the Toomey back on and put the carb from my runner on and see how she does if its right and quicker than mine im gonna sell my original 1 to fund the build

Well between the hydro brakes, toomey, bumper, and nerfs I'd say it's good for free. Hopefully she fires up and purrs like a mountain line!

Basically the same thing I do. I use a piece of rubber and bolt the flange over it. The rubber that sits on top of the gas tank works great :D

i would guess with it being polished it will be a bit hard to seat, on a stock bore i use some brake clean on a rag and clean off all the oil from the port so the rubber "sticks"
