I have standard size wsm top end and wiseco crank 34 mm keihin pj carb ported cylinder and shearer exhaust ive been doing alot of reading on here to try and decide which reed and reedcage setup to go with i was thinking about the rad valvle because ineed to get a 34mm intake adaptor anyway but just not sure what is the best way to go with my setup also im not sure if i should go with the air box or the open air k&n because i have the trx 450r rear shock and it will rub on the air box if i go that way

the guys on this site seem to love the vf3. alot of bad talk going around on those rad valves but i think its all personal prefrence noob will tell ya he loves his rad valve..

if your gonna ride in the sand dont use an open filter even if u put a outwerwears cover on it. the cfm air box will clear a trx 450 shock. rad valves work good only if u have it ported vf3,s do have the best bang for the buck though

LOL as soon as i saw him asking about a RAD valve i started to chuckle a little bit haha :D :D :D. like everyone is saying man its all a matter of preferance. i got on boyesen's website before and read what they say about the rad valve and they say that it is designed to increase velosity so it has a TINY intake. when i installed it i did notice a big jump in low end when i put it on but it was pretty dead on top. so to take care of that problem i got the ole dremmel out and went to town, now its got a big intake hole and i shaped the metal so it fits perfectly to my rubber intake so from carb to reeds is one smooth surface. a nice set of VF3's are pretty much plug and play as long as you have the correct intake or some lip has to be cut down some so everything seals up nice.
