Which Oil for Crancase? I have auto oil.

Ok did a little research but Im in the garage right now and i drained all the fluid last night and was going to refill the tranny/ clutchcase with fresh oil (3/4 Quart) But all I have in the garage are Motor oil for my car 10w-30 will this be ok? I have synthetic and regular

regular, el cheapo 10w-30 will work just fine
change it frequently

Most 10w30 has friction modifiers. Will cook the clutch. Ya, ya, ya, I know you did it once and had no problems, but trust me, I know this shiz. Flushed and fixed a few and some were just too far gone. If you got power and a stock clutch, 10W30 will fry it.

Hot weather 15W40 diesel oil works well, cooler weather Auto Tranny Fluid - ATF.
The best stuff is Motul 2 stroke gearbox oil.
