when running a new build

what color of burned oil that comes out of the exaust could a guy expect?
im waiting for new jets so i am running the motor rich.not running it for long periods of time,too much smoke coff coff

Uhhhh, black? Or are you talking smoke? Oil burns grey smoke, rich mix gives black smoke (and fouls plugs)

not the smoke but the oil its self.i had a exaust leak and when i took off the pipe to fix it there was dark grey oil.i already know its rich and will correct the mix as soon as i get my new jets in

Unburned oil looks the same as when you put it in.
