if i got some wider a arms idk how wide though something that is good for racing but what else would i need besides the a arms and could you estimate the price thanks guys

depends on what kinda of racing you do. mx id say +3/+1 trail +2/+1 an the price wise depends if u buy used or new an what brand they r. prices used an new will rang from 200 - 600 easly. hope that helps

if you buy new arms, you need new shocks, stock shocks arent valved for your weight and added leverage from the longer arm. +3 is great for everything...careful on tight trails tho. new, shocks can be 300-1000 depends what you want. a arms can run 300-700 or so. best bet is to buy used. problem is its hard to snag a deal..everybody is on them..so i would say asr or burgard arms, and works dual rates....elkas will run about 475. have em valved for your weight (with gear), riding style, and arm length.

elkas for 475? where? i seen them on ebay for 1000 or more

yeah you will need TIE RODS( there you go calcium say it with me T I E R O D S) haha JK, and longer brake lines would be a reccomendation but you could mod your brake line mounts to make it work but i would just get better a arms, also, on ARS's website i read that you could use the stock shocks, because since I'm already having issues with what to getfor the front a arms and if i need new shocks then i'm gonna say screw it.

Ok man did some quick research and found this
Lone Star Racing - A-Arms - Yamaha Blaster
from what these a arms requir it says it needs ball joints and gives you some part #'s, and from what i read it also gives you tie rods with the kit, these are way to expensivee, i would go with asr for a arms they are by far thebest, and for a cheaper price, also if you widen the front might as well widen the back with a banshee axle too.

Your best bet is going to be ebay. If your patient you can find some good deals. I paid about $700 for my front end. $265 for the a-arms and $400 for the elka's. Like rockstar said, try to find good used ones. If I would have bought mine new the a-arms are almost $900 and the shocks are about $1200. I would also recommend getting the steel braided brake lines when you get a-arms. There only about $70 and they make the brakes respond better when you grab the lever

If your really gonna race... Don't bother with non adjustable shocks. Atleast get Compression and possibly H/L speed comp. Makes it a totally different beast!I:I
