do you ever have anything usefull to say or just talk sh*t about other peoples posts? why not just answer the question?
i already answered it... a boost bottle does nothing.... it's a gimmick...

since supernoober is whining abouit me not answering everything in thsi thread i'll expliain to you why these statements are incorrect.. first of all a boost bottle cannot lower compression.. there are a few reasons.. one the boost bottle is on the other side fo teh reedcage form the cylinder.. but the most obvious reason is that compression is above the piston and since the crown on a blaster or banshee never comes down low enough to let air from the reedbox over the piston a boost bottle would have no effect on compression anyway.. even on somethieng like a piston port engine... see the intake ports on a 2 stroke fill the lower end of the engine.. then when the piston come down it pressureises the lower end and there is low pressure above teh crown. this and the negative pressure from the pipe pulse pulling. brings the air fuel mixture through the transfer tunnel and through the transfer port to fill the cylinder for the next cycle... air or water moves from high pressure to low pressure.. no where is the boost bottle involved in any of this.. as i said before it's a gimmick.. it does nothing.. now as for a boost bottle making a bike run lean... that i guess is possible.. especailly on banshees.. the added weight of the boost bottle instaed of the crossover tube tend to pull on teh intake rubber and is more prone to tearing intake boots and creating an air leak.. there fore making your engine run lean.. added heat and tendancy to detonate therefore destroy things.. but puttign a boost bottle on and running it without there being any leaks has no effect on air:fuel ratio at all.they dont work on banshees....they mainly work on 4 pokes....theres a vid on you tube of a stock raptor 700 beating a full banshee drag bike just with boost...it makes 2 strokes lose compression actually+ run lean because its pushing in soo hard the ratio of air, fuel mixture gets messed so burns up engine

i hope supernoober is happy with my response...
