What do you think of this Engine setup?

This is what im aiming for in my engine: Ported, jetted, Toomey pipe and exhaust, K&N filter (No lid), Hot rods +4mm crankshaft, Wiseco piston, Liquid cooled head, and scary fast power now.
What do think about this or suggest to add??
Thanks

I'd say get a bigger carb for your setup before getting the power now. With the mods you listed a bigger carb will be much more beneficial and they can be picked up on ebay for a decent price.

yep, i'd say a 32/34mm carb, and possibly a different pipe for a stroked, ported motor.....
f7/dynoport/lrd < the lright bends seem to be more popular with modded motors, i know i love my f7 and lrd
also, you do know that motor has have the cases trenched for the +4 crank, and should be ported to match that crank, not ported then add crank

and we will expect a full report on the cool head with pics

Yea no problem, but it will be a while before i make any reports cuz as you know im in Dubai and it takes a while before the parts reach me and then it takes another while for all the parts to be installed.
And does it HAVE to be ported to match the crank? Like is it a must??

without matching the ports, it could run bad, or just ok, spending the money on the +4 and not port patching would be silly

toomey is a good pipe for a mildly moddded bike, but i assume u will be duning and a right bend is much better for that for there is more high end power

The Toomey is a great all-around pipe (I love mine) and buying one would never be a mistake, but a ported, stroked dune racer like you are obviously planning on building would benefit from a race pipe like the LRD or F7. I also own an LRD and for flat out hauling it beats the Toomey. I would personally recommend the F7 though because of their activity on this site (pittboss45) and good customer service. I can't even get LRD to return an email.

And the +4 has specific machining requirements for installation that really require an expert, both to the case and the head. Adding the water-cooled head to those requirements should be interesting for your builder. And yes, the porting should match the stroke, thats half the point of two-stroke porting, adjusting the port timing.

Carb-wise, I would go with a 33mm PWK or a 35mm AirStriker PWK with an aftermarket airbox.

So i tell the shop that did my porting to match the porting with the +4mm crank?

the matching the porting to the stroker is a must in my book, or they will be fighting each other instaed of working in unison,
and right bend pipes rule powerwise !!!!!!!!!!!! but toomeys sound good

ok, gonna try to explain this without being too long winded (and perhaps someone more knowledgeable will be able to add more)

When you change the stroke, you change when the piston covers/uncovers the ports. without changing this you'll have a motor that runs poorly. the ports need to be covered/uncovered at certain points.

the really important part is getting the exhaust port right, and getting the exhaust port matched to the pipe you're going to use. I really love my f7/powerpros/ct/trinity pipe. lots of power all over.

i also think you will want a bigger carb with that setup, something around the 33-35mm range, especially if you're duning.

another thing is that the head will need cut for the crank, and you'll need to have the cases trenched to clear the rod. something that's a little more drop in for you would be a vito's +3 crank, won't need trenching.

another thing is your builder should really have all of the parts that you're going to use to port that top end, that way they can accurately match the ports. it'll be interesting to see what they do with that cool head setup.

I would get the vitos crank but I heard negative things about it, do you know anything aboout it?
P.S Remember that its really hot here and that I ride my bike really agressive.

the problems i heard about vitos is the cranks being outa spec.
so you could get it checked and if need be trued like whitty said.
a bigger carb is going to be a must if your doing a duner setup your going to want a right bend because they have killer topend power from what i hear. the porting is not a must have but doing a strocker crank and geting it ported without geting the port timing matched would be just plain out silly you wouldn get much of a power gain from the crank without the ports matched. hope this helps most of the stuff was metioned but if you read something a few times or if its explained in differnt ways helps.
