Do your research. check the classifieds, check ebay, check craigslist...and see who all is in the market. That's the best way to know. Also, gives you an idea if someone wants to screw you...or if you want to get the reputation of trying to screw someone...which I'm sure you don't want that. If someone offers you an ass, a weiner and a pullet...be skeptical, no exhaust is worth that. 8-|
I would say put it on eBay. I've seen them go for way more then I think they should. Maybe some of them CL tards will bid it up to get it so they can install and tell everybody there Blaster will now beat a LT250R.
i bought a new dg off a guy for 100 bucks sold it for 150. the cleaner it is the more suckers will want it. i sold mine on craigslist
Throw it on CL for $175 or best offer. Always put it higher then you want to get for it. People feel like they got a good deal if they can get you to drop the price. Good buying and selling in person is all about mind game. A lot of time it's about who has control over the deal. Do you want to sell it more then he wants to buy it or does he want to buy it more then you want to sell it.thats a big factor in what it will sell for in the end.
yeah u always wanna let the person buying it feel they got a deal i sell alot a blaster parts on craigslist and banshee stuff and buy it dirt cheap and make alot a profit off the stuff
thats right buy stuff in bulk to and take the time to clean it up also some aluminum polish and steel wool on aluminum parts make easy sales B)
As long as you find someone who's never been here you should be able to get a good price out of it. Until I joined here I thought DG made pretty good stuff. Now I debated if the rusty DG exhaust was worth the cost of good paint to refinish it. I'm glad I did now, I like the sound better than stock and I'm glad I tried out the ceramic paint, it turned out really good.
