i dont know. i know blasters came in a variety of colors... but i dont know about yellow. search google or bing or whatever you use... yes they did. i am looking at my blaster repair manual with a yellow and black blaster on front

if you want it to look newer, you could put a 03+ hood on it. i dont like them, but some people do. check out holeshotman`s blaster. it looks pretty cool if you like the newer look

once u get a new hood there is a key hole there. they sell the new hoods on maier

i think the nerfs are home made and those heel guards would look good if they were a little bit more foreward i think. but the key hole, just drill a hole the size of the ignition. thats what i did on my warrior
