Now do timing plate mod and get about 4* advance. Noticable difference and well worth it.

Amazing how one tiny part can make such a difference !!

I know it's crazy and what is it bad If you don't get it exactly 4? say like 3.5mm or 4.5mm?

Will advanceing the timing Will it hurt any thing? If I'm off .5mm either way?

A 3mm slot enlargement will advance 4deg.

Advance too much will put you into detonation territory.

.5 too far may produce detonation, or require you to run strictly 93 octane to prevent it.
the DIY on here says a 3mm slot produces the +4 advance, a safer bet is to only go +3-ish degrees with a slightly shorter 2 - 2.5mm slot.
it helps bottom to mids at the cost of lost top end and over rev.

On my stock stator I can spin it a little clockwise and counterclockwise. I have it all the way clockwise on stock. Should I go 3mm from that point?
