what boots?

gonna try some harescrambles this summer and i need riding boots. i always used to like to wear them anyway and had a pair of old Bieffe's that were mediocre at best but what do you guys wear and do you like them? Also about how much were they

^^ i was gonna get the same boots then my friend sold me his 09 thor boots that he used once for $50.. get alpinstars if you can afford them haha way overpriced.. i think sixsixone has a set of boots that are decent price

ive got shift combat boots, i scored mine off egay for 51.00 oooo-riight. they are warm, dry and very comfortable. and they are lasting awesome.

It would be because they don't protect your shins and don't support your ankles as much as full size boots

I would avoid shorties... My son got his ankle ran over a few years ago, and if he would have had shorties on he would not have had the ankle support, and may have gotten hurt badly... Instead he walked away...

I like my Astars, but they can be expensive... Just remember a cheap boot may not be all that comfortable if you are racing for nearly 2 hours at a time..

budget is definitely a factor and i can't afford more that 150 for a pair of boots....but i just want the most comfort/durability i can get for my money
