Went to the dealership yesterday and OMG!!!!!!

I went to my local Yamaha dealership yesterday to try on some helmets and OMG they had 2 2009 YFZ 450R's one normal blue one and one special edition one with SS wheels and Holeshot tires on it. I just had to sit on it and wish I could take it home with me but at $8100 I don't think I'm going to any time soon. They also had a kick ass 2009 raptor 700r special edition with one of the most bad ass plastics I have ever seen on a quad in there. It was like a black with red marble plastic. When Yamaha said the compleatly redid the 450r they was not lieing... They had a 2008 sitting right next to the new 405r and you can really see the difference between the 2.

i know wha tyour saying , the newer yammy bikes really have some fine details and style to them ,almost makes me sad to spray the front ends down with dirt and gravel roost off my banshee ..almost

I was at my local yamaha dealer today and was checking out the 2009's. The 450's have sweeter plastic, aluminum frame, and are fuel injected.

You can also go to CT Racing's web site and they have a whole reveiw on it you can watch. If I wasn't going to buy a house this year I would buy one BUT doesn't do any good to have a nice brand new YFZ 450 if you don't have a house to go back to. LOL
