Went riding today

how do you mount those dial a jets??? ive seen some billet bowls that are pre made for them

You can do it a few different ways. Your carb has places that can be drilled and tapped for it. You can put a hole in the air tube that feeds the carb and stick it in there and ziptie it on. Me? My coupler from the airbox has a heavy duty turbo coupler (off a turbo outlet of my MR2) on it. Its really thick. They give you a tool that pokes holes in rubber boots exactly the right diameter. Since my rubber is so thick, it actually threads on. So I just push it in the hole and thread it in and it stays in place. They give you a threaded piece with a nipple on it and tell you what size to drill and tap. You drill a hole through the 17mm bolt on the bottom of the carb that covers the main jet and they give you a nylon washer to seal. I used some teflon tape and that nylon washer and mine seals great. So thats how it gets its fuel. On a stock blaster carb, the tube just connects to the fuel release port.

And yeah awk, trout for bananas at 10,000 feet LOL. I just got a kick out of the whole thing. I figured Id do something nice, make these peoples day. They were really excited to see my fish. They offered to PAY me for them. I didnt want anything. But when I saw they offered bananas, I got hungry and took em up on the offer. My dad was with me, so we each ate 2 bananas through the course of that trip.

And I caught fish before, and after eating those bananas. I dont believe in bad luck tho :)

It was definately a cool day. The place is 100 miles from me. So I drove for 4 hours, 200 miles, to do it, but its worth it. I LOVE it up there.

Buddy of mine has a cabin up there about 20 miles from the lake I was at. Its got some really cool riding by it. We will ride a 10 mile run from his cabin with our fishing gear strapped to our quads to this little lake up there, fish, and ride back. Its great. Havent been up there yet this year. Hoping to get it in august.
