you won't be disappointed man. like noober said you may be the one kicking up rocks. trust me i know you will like it.

Yo! You need to put around on it in at least up to 3rd gear, don't just let it idle till it's hot then shut it down, you can get the four corner sieze, like I did! Just givin ya a heads up. I hope to see you at Joes in a week or so! No excuses!

yes i know about the puting around and all that but from what i read your spose to do 3 heat cyles retorque the base and head then doing the putting!!

To each his own! I'm just sayin what happened to me! I know there are 450 ways of breakin in a two stroke, but there is only a couple correct ways of doing it! Glad you gott'r all together. It's a great feeling!

thanks for the tip it is a great feeling so what was your full break in precuder (didnt spell that right) i was gana go the route of puting around giving it a little bit more after each cool down?

Well, first I let it warm 5 minutes, while stabbing throttle no more than 1/8, every now and then, next i put it in gear putted around in first and second for about 10 minutes no more than 1/4throttle, then, shut her down, cool completely in the garage, it took a touch over four hours for it to cool down completely, (used a heat gun), then fired it back up, warming again for three- four minutes, putted on front street in first second third and fourth less than 1/2 throttle, cool down again that's all i had time for that day.

Next day, repeat senerio no more than 3/4 throttle, cool down, repeat again in all 6 gears, then my first tank of gas I was a little easy on it no WOT for more than a second. Plug chopped- and plug chopped until i was satified, Then i have been beat the sh*t out of it since!

The important part is complete cool down, so the piston and cylinder both have a chance to shrink to normal.

thats what i was gana do but with 2 or 3 heat cycles first
so im pretty sure i want to do that now then cant wait to hook up with you and joe for a ride!!!

i put mine together and rode it around for about 10 mins just getting used to it, because i had never rode anything with a clutch before this. and then let it cool down. and then ran the piss out of it. its been running good and strong for the past 4 years or so with no issues. and i dont ride it easy by any means

congrats buddy. i got mine running finally a couple days ago. havent ridden it yet, but i did heat cycles and re torqued so i think im good to go on a little easy ride now

I do 1 complete warm up cycle at idle and the 1 easy putting around not exceeding 1/2 throttle then the third putt around not to exceed 3/4 throttle the. The 4th i do wit anc plug chops, obviously retorqing the base and head bolts. Do what u feel comfy with. Congrats on the finish
