I bought a head bolt set from vito's performance and sent it along with all my parts to Oconner racing -as he is the one doing my motor work. Found out that they are way too short. When it's all bolted up the nut only reached 2/3 of the threads, not a good thing as Ken told me I'd be retorqueing alot and would ruin the gasket which could lead to a blown motor if i didn't catch it! Not what I need. They studs were nice and have the hex head on top so you can tighten them good but will not work. Just thought I'd put this out there to save someone some the hassle of possibly messing up ther motor because of them loosening.
Want to thank Ken, for being so detail oriented on my rebuild- He also found that the bolt set I got off of ebay from (Fastnerguy), the two bolts for the stator plate had to have the heads shaved because the flywheel was making contact. This attention to detail is the reason I chose Ken Oconner racing for my build! Thanks -KEN! you are the Man!
