vids from the asphalt 1/8 mile

i mean it gets about 15-20 feet out and looks like you slam on the brakes and then get back on it lol. i thought i could hear it too.

try feeding it clutch instead of dumping it and in a hgher gear. that way you shouldnt have to come out of it to keep from loopin out.

there someone finally said it.
feathering the clutch will help keep power up and wheels down.
everytime you dump the clutch it will come up on that super sticky ground.
it might take a while to learn how to feather the clutch right so you get max power, but this way you wont be lifting the front wheels.

My team mate has a blaster that runs 9.3 at 66mph.My blaster is all stock except the 68mm piston so I don't race it .That's what I have the banshee and honda trx 450 for..lolI:I

haha got looking threw my time slips and saw i ran a pretty decent light on this run I:I I:I it was a 500 tree :D hey mykids what kind of motor and gearing is on that other blaster? is it a stock jug like mine or is it a BBK? i was still gaining speed when i crossed the line so mabey i will play with the gearing next time haha :)

what is up with the 594FT time??
just think, by 60ft, you were already half a second down to whatever you was racing.
but that .501 reaction was good.

thanks man :D, i dunno why they give you so many differant times :-/ i guess thats just how they roll lol. and i was "racing" the BBK, ported zilla every time lol :( i wish a nice tasty rappy 350 or something would show up next time hahaha I:I I:I

looks like fun noober !! glad you got by the track nazi

i smoked my lady's 350 at croom yesterday we draged a few times :) tell you what tho for it just being jetted, new hd clutch, hmf pipe, filter and 19" holeshots in the rear that prick moves pretty dam good for what it is, i read they have 22hp stock so shes prob up there.

noober, the time incrementals are great data to analyze a run.

60ft----good measure of how its leaving the line, 90% of races are decided right here
330ft---how its doing the first half of the track, usually used to decide power management, or of course see if things you did differently in the first half help
660ft and mph--your analytical data of the 2nd half, where the power is doing most of the work, mph will give you a good indication of how much hp it is producing

thats helpful info man thanks, how would you break it down by looking at the slip? i know i was starting horrible because i always had to let off to drop the front end so i think that was costing me bigtime. and hell yeah holeshot it was great, ole tech nazi gave me my tech sticker for the year so no worries for he rest of the season I:I I:I

usually you need other slips to compare to so that you can see what it does on one round vs. another

but any way around it, don't lift, shift.

oh ok, gotcha. i made 8 runs that day my times were pretty much right at high 10's everytime. it was weird becaue no matter how bad teh start i was going almost exactly the same speed everytime at the 1/8 mile mark, i had 6 runs in the high 59's and 2 at 60.something

starting by feeding the clutch a little will help. otherwise just let the thing come up and just keep in it and shift while in the air
