blasterbum people do care about you serving are country, everyone does, there are alot of anti-war people, they disagree with the war going on right now, but no american dislikes our soldiers, are soldiers put their lives in great danger and serve our country to do good for fellow americans, its the fact that the gov. orders are soldiers to do "not so good" things. im currently in the USMC on active duty. i have been at it for 12 years now and things are going great. i fix communications/navigation systems on aircraft.
now, first off. if you believe ANYTHING this 19 year old has told you in the above posts. you area an idiot. the things he links are nothing more than conspiracy theorists trying to make people believe in their cause. the humor in this is that it is the same technique that terrorist orginaztions use in other countries to recruit people to help with their cause. by manipulating the facts, anyone can gain a following. ignorance is bliss isn't it?
i have spent time in iraq, i have seen friends not live to see their families, i have see the iraqi people abused to no end by saddams army early in the war. I WAS THERE. i was part of the 24th MEU that went into iraq and took bagdad back in 2003. i can tell you first hand, its not "all about oil" and unless you have been there and seen what happens off camera. i dont expect you to understand.
so please. if you dont have the intestinal fortitude to help defend freedom, just STFU and watch the professionals do their jobs.
now, to the OP. if you have any questions about the fleet corps, feel free to send me a PM and ill do my best to describe what you are in for as a grunt. if you scored an 88 AFQT on the asvab, you really should look into a better job. there are much more oppurtunities out there in the military for those who do better on teh asvab. i scored in teh 80's as well. i've been fixing $22M aircraft for the past 12 years. when i retire, ill have a pretty nice job in the civilian workforce with all of this electronics experience.
at this moment, i am sitting on a US navy ship preparing to go wherever my country sends me and in 7 months i will return home to see my wife, and kids. just remember, that its for people like you posters above that im out here. its people like me, that give you the freedom to use this forum, share your opinions, and bash our government. be glad you arent a saudi, iraqi, iranian, afgan or, chineese. people in those countries loose their lives for expressing their opinions like you just did.

Iv heard both sides of the story, i have watched alot of the 9/11 videos from the people there, the people that witnessed it, i seen videos, and on and on, I am sure every one has! but just like you said how the hell does a 150 ft object hit the side of a building and leave a 16 ft hole? why when you watch the videos do the towers fall in layers? why has no one said they seen an airplane, they just heard the exsplosion? why was there no remains of airplanes found? or jet fuel? but yet we go to war and all a sudden oil prices sky rocket? and Iraqies burn up all the oil mines they can? now with that being said, every one listen to chris and take an hour or so and research! im not saying what side i beleive but you should be able to tell! what do you think our government is after??? put 2 and 2 together every one!!! and chris...lol OUR is spelled like this OUR not like this ARE!!!! lol just picking!!!
