twist throttle question

i just recieved the 2 twist throttle kits i ordered from motion pro. one for my sons blaster and one for my 250r.. problem is they are full cr style half twist throttles. they are the turbo model.. but i wanted the 1/4 turn style.. any one know which model that is...

Been there done that, twists on a quad are just too awkward.

yeah skip the twist throttle think to yourself about comeing down off a jump and land the bike as your arms come down and twist back on the throttle revving the bike out of control and out from under your son

Umm, yeah, some people don't like them others do. I ditched my thumb killer after a few months and went with a twist on my Blaster. Way, WAY better. I like being able to use my thumbs to hang on with. That's what they're made for.
Sorry I can't help the OP with the question. Mine's a half twist too. Works just fine.

i had a cr style twist for a while...didnt like it at all. I have another twist sittin on one of my blasters thats only a 1/8th turn i guess...its a lot less than that cr style i had. dont know where you get them though...

i thought it would be cool... i think i have the same one you do... I hate it and will trade mine asap.. I about killed myself with the twist throttle. on a drag blaster maybe.. but definately not for off roading...

think about this u turn the bars to turn not lean. and what will your wrist do when you turn left???? twists on bikes and thumbs on everything else thats my opinion

Ok. Now that he got everyones opinion (and yeah I hate twists on quads too), how about an answer to his question?

Duncan Racing lists a "Vortex type throttle" as being 1/4 turn. Web link attached, about halfway down the page.
