Hi I know most of you guys have various port jobs from Ken and everyone else in between. Does anyone here have price quotes or port jobs on there blaster cylinder from Trinity? Im thinking of getting a stage 3 port job for hard riding cause I like to drag race my buddies and ride fast in the wooded trails. I've tried e-mailing them but there answers are a bit limited unless your serious about buying from them. Anyone have good results from them? Or anyone else that's just as good? Money isin't really an issue after I sell my dirtbike but I dont wanna get hoed either. Thanks

just go with ken oconnor... he doesnt hide his prices from people and trinity is a big name company that doesnt put there best foot in there work.

I have a trinity pipe and from the quality of it I would never buy anything from them or give them any of my buisness. go with one of the guys we suggest on here. we promote them for a reason

smart ass!
always one in everybunch. so quit it I'm the smart ass here. lmao

Good thing about Ken, he is a phone call away if you have issues. Customer service goes a long way! I felt bad for calling him so many times but he explained that is what they are there for.

if money isn't an issue get the ct 200 kit..it comes faster than any ported stock cylinder...of course I still had Oconnor do a little to it

He's the clear choice for me cause he's the closet, everyone here gets it done from him. I checked out his site a few times and his prices are good but it dosent show the extent or classifications of how much porting he can do. I would feel bad if i get into a long conversation with him being as helpful as he is just to go with someone else. But I am mostly hesitant cause there were some comments not to long ago about some issues from his setups that caused severe problems. I personaly dont know him well enough to say that this is true, and by no means mean to bash him in any way. But frankly these comments certainly shook my confidence in him which is why I havent called him even for a quote.

As for Trinity my dad swears by them as the bese of the best. It's a bit of a mexican stand off in my head...

Which builder are you talking about?

My motor was done in california by trinity and yes it runs good but from what i hear trinity farms out all its port work so you really never know who really does your work. I would stick with a builder that is allready recommended here.

Cole 454 read the link kennedy, mmajay I haven't herd that but a 99.7% success rate of power efficency flow design as of 2009 must be good even if it were true???????

I hear they are pretty hit-or-miss, i had a NASTY[good nasty!] LT250R cylinder from them.

but for every good story is a bad one as well

id go with ken cuz he is honest about his prices and doesnt hide anything, plus hes a great guy who doesnt have a problem telling me how to make his products myself in school

yeah i would go with somebody on this site becuase most do alot of blaster cylinders so they have the most time on them not like trinity etc... and ive never heard bad from anybody except for kennedy

If you send the cylinder to ken oconnor then you know that ken is the man who is working on your cylinder, if you send your cylinder to Trinity then you dont know who is working on it...

I went with Ken for the same reasons. Ive called him several times on the phone, only once has he not answered, I left a message, he called me back shortly.

Hes never tried to rush me off the phone, no matter how "stupid" my question was. He will idly chat with you about some stuff, theres a personification factor there that I really like.

And in the end, I know I sent my stuff to someone who really knows what hes doing from years of experience. I know if a thing was done a certain way, most likely it was done that way for a reason.

I am very happy with my KOR work. The thing I like most about Ken is, he will tell it to you straight. If theres a better thing out there for you than what hes got, he will tell you, he wont try and sell you sh*t he doesnt have. Hes definately got my respect. And for me, that goes a long way.

So, theres another plus one for KOR.

well i talked to ken o connor a little while ago on the phone...i asked my questions and he awnsered respectfully. and besides if you watch his videos on youtube and on here of him porting a blaster cylinder and explaining how he dose it. you can clearly tell he knows what he is doing. his prices are more then fair...he has alot of people to back him up with his good work. he will tell you what you do or do not need done. seems to be a good man making a living off something he likes and loves to do. i can respect that! :) i dont see my self sending my engine to anyone but him. now that i think about it...i cant wait to pop a piston so i can send him my full motor to get redone :)

I'd like to thank Ken for the # 2 I was very hesitant about adding the link comment post. I was hoping very much that some one with insight into the matter would take charge in confirming or denying the accusations hope you could see my confusion at first glance ( Kennedy racing sounds similar to Ken O Connor racing, it could have been shortened to save time hence my confusion. I truly meant no harm to ken or his company by implicating you. I really was trying to get to the bottom of the matter cause sending a vital part such as even a crankshaft out to get rebuilt trued and balanced is very nerve racking for some people that don’t know the company very well but told are the best cause the crank shaft is the only major moving part in the whole motor cause if it goes the whole motor will likely go as well and as such a certain amount of mutual respect is needed to trust someone.3 I tried my best to see all of your video's but could only get through the first 2. I have dial up in the country which is depressingly slow. I think I know what it takes to do the great jobs that he does and are so open to showing his secrets. No body else in this industry that I'm aware of does that and every word he says in those videos makes me have more respect for him and what he does by the minute. I've only had 2 real world goals in my life being a successful racer or a mechanic all the time having the respect of all of those that watch me do what I do. I certainly wouldn’t want any one slandering my good name through the mud.
post rescinded and deleted immediately when and if my motor goes I will send it to you because I fully trust you Thank you for your time Ken O' Connor
I will admit it I was very wrong. we talked like old friends for about 40 minitues a couple minitues ago and he understands and are good friends now everything iss cleared up.......
