lol i thought you were crazy when i first read about you trading but didnt comment because i figured it doesnt matter what i think if your happy with it your happy with it.

yea...it was a definately a fair trade... I will have alot easier time selling this for 1000 then that blaster...Everyone is selling like 2005 blasters for like 800 around here it sucks cuz people expected me to give mine away cuz it was a 95
So all and all i am happy cuz i can get my moneys worth out of it.
those are aight lil 4 pokers, and they can top round 50 or 45... it was my first 4 wheeler. i had an 86 tho and i was 9 when i first got it(i was below 5ft then. rotfl). lol it was funny cuz its hard as hell to start it! i used to jump on the kick start with both of my feet! lmao but they are classics and worth some money. it ended up junked. the axle carrier went out and then i accidently bust the clucth cover trying to keep the engine in running condition and then my da junked the frame and i was gonna put a 2stroker in there!

Yea they are hard to start...my ankle is all swollen up from me learning how to start it...I plan to regear it though.. I wanna go from the stock 11-41 to 14 40 gearing.That should alow it to do about 65 70mph maby more.

anyone try using the hotwheels radar gun? it has setting for 1/64th scale (hotwheels size) and real speed (normal) and is supposed to work up to 100mph and only $25

Anyone ever blow a tire going that fast? I have never heard of a tire coming apart on an atv, but I know they are not speed rated unless you are running radials.

i got my dads new gps and it has a "max speed" thing. you just reset it and giver. funny sh*t, my mom was fidling with it and i guess she found the max speed thing, and i guess my dad was givin her at 150kmh on the 407 to work 1 day lol. the 407(ontario) is like the f*cking autobahn of canada. everyone goes atleast 130 and stays out of the far left lane unless your rippin. speaking of autobahn, going on that sh*t when i got to germany on the 20th for a week
Back in the day in GA, when i used to run 14/40 on 22 inch tires i ran a 8.9@71mph in 1/8th mile. since then i had the motor re-worked, and changed the gearing a bit. My kx 250 at the same track spun half way till it got traction and toped out at 74mph...the last time i had a friend down from back home (connecticut) he was on my kx and i was on the blaster, and with 15/38 on 21" duro tires i walked away on top end. so i was doing 74+mph..anyways, my brother in law and i took my blaster outside the raleigh city limits a couple weekends ago b/c i wanted to ride it for a few minutes. We took it down a couple roads and he was following me in a small nissan pick-up, there was only one real long strait away and he said that he was doing 80 and i was still pulling away from him a little bit. I dont know how correct the speedometer is in the truck but its fairly new. Ill just have to see what it does when i get to another track sometime.
haha but 80 does seem a little fast because a guy in my neighborhood has a 09 trx 450r with new gearing and pipe and other mods and he is averaging around 84 and that is fast!
this is a really old thread. and i am not the guy 90 blaster raded his blaster for...BUT... i am the guy who bought it from the guy in vermont. and it did not go 80 when i got it.
