top end re build?

Hey can any one tell me the pros and cons on getting my YZ250 07 topend sleeved. Piston shattered and did alittle bit of damage, so not sure if I should re-coat or get it sleeved which is half the price. Cheers

Installing a sleeve is going to run you a bit more than having the cylinder plated. The advantage of a sleeve is you have a cylinder that can be bored if you ever have problems again. If you keep up with your maintenance, plating is the way to go. Better heat transfer and performance. Give me a call if you have questions.
