thanks for the pix! so what i see in your pic is that the pipe pretty much touches right up against the blue part of the flange. now on mine the pipe goes on and there is about 1/2 gap between the end of the pipe and the blue part of flange. no matter what i do this will not go one any farther.

Off the bike, sitting on the ground/bench, it should go all the way on. If it don't, why? Where is it touching or binding?
