I will be installing a toomey kit on my blaster. This kit includes the pipe, uni filter, and the jet for the kit. I also am installing V force 3 reeds. On V force's web site it says you might need to change the jet for some applications. I was wondering if anyone else had the same set up and if it ran fine for them? Im pretty sure it will be ok but just wanted to see every one else's opinion..... thanks!

Thats great you also have an aftermarket carb. I want to know if the toomey kit jet that they give me will run right with the v force 3 reeds. The rest of my blaster is stock along with the carb.. thanks

you have to play with jetting depending on a # of things altitude, temp ect..
so i cant tell you your jetting i dont think anyone can really give you a direct answer

and he has a different carb so a 270 may jet it real high depending on what carb he has so wat kinda carb do you have and u can start from there jetting is a whole trial and error process
Dont you have a toomey kit and V force 3 reeds too? or do you just have the B1 pipe.....
i have my bike and my girls bike hers has stock carb and exhaust and runs 300 main jet my bike has a 36 pwk airstriker and im pretty sure im running a 155.

yes i have the full pipe and vforces and k&n i have the stock jetting but i dont reccomend it but everything i tried didnt work so i said f it and she been running good ever since jus be sure to check ur plug after every run with each jet u try
toomey gives you a 310 for a stock carb put it in run the pipe and reeds wide open kill it and pull the plug see what color it is want like a cardboard brown if its black its rich(to much fuel jet down) and if its like white its lean (not enough fuel jet up)
Thanks someone on this site with some sense. I understand looking at the plug to see whether it is lean or rich I was just wondering if someone had the same setup as me and what they experienced.
