My Blaster is completely tore down for the winter build. I am wanting to extend the swing arm +4" and I'm trying to save some money. I figured I can just cut the stock swing arm and add 4" of strong metal in between the cut. I know that I will need a longer chain and brake line.
My questions are.
1) Where should I make the cut? Closer to the axel or toward the engine? I ask about the cut position b/c of where the shock mount should be.
2) That starts my 2nd question. Can I still use the stock shock on a +4 setup? I know it would be better to buy a better one but remember I'm trying to save my Benjamin's.
3) Does anyone know if someone sells a extension kit for Blaster swing arms?
