Okay so i just went ahead and ordered a new h.o. 75w stator.it has an adjustable timing plate.i have read about the +4 mod but is the adv timing worth the engine stress.what kinda power increase to expect?would i need to rejet n retune?my mods are listed in sig. should i just adv 2-3°?

You don't need to rejet. Just put it on 4 and make sure you don't have spark knock. You can play with it some changing the degrees to see how it performs. It may like 2 or 3 better then 4.

IIRC ? the adjustable plates allow advance or retard ?
be sure you turn the plate clockwise to advance.
mine likes +3
expect a gain in the bottom/mids and a slight loss on top

looks like it only adjusts from 0 - +15, no retard timing................

Niche-1299 is a O.E. type replacement stator for the Blaster 200. It is mounted on an adjustable stator plate, where the timing can be adjusted from 0-15 degrees difference making this the ideal stator for an average user or someone running a stroker kit.

be careful to not go past +4
thats like 3mm past 0

From the pic it looks to have a degree indicator

thats good, we have learned that 3mm is around +4 from the DIY timing advance thread, measure to double check.
i also see they offer to email you install/set-up directions further down the ebay page, i'd do it just to see what they recommend

It has a 1 yr warranty so long as i dont have to deal with months of c.s. itll be ok.never know could be an excellent part
