Ticks and lymes disease.

You prob got bit by another one and don't even know it ? Plus not everyone gets the bulls eye rash like I got .. He prob prescribed Doxycycline . I just cant stomach that stuff. Hopefully you will handle it better than I can . You should feel better after a few days on the antibiotic. I have good days and bad days.

Forgot to add. If/When taking the antibiotics get yourself some probiotics. Fast6hand recommended them and they DO work great,, especially when taking strong antibiotics..

There is more than one antibiotic you can take . If the one bothers you too much then ask for another one instead. Stay out of the sun too.

yeah the dr told me to stay out of the sun if possible
and im pretty sure it is the Doxycycline i will have it in about 1hr
what probiotic are we talking about?? pic link maybe?
and yes i have no rash or anything like that...but just yesterday i noticed like 5 small blotches on my leg which were not there before

i keep chasing basketballs into the woods/brush that roll down the hill i think im taking a break from that

i have been sick forever stay out of the sun in august sounds like a good time:mad:

We had a dog get it once. Stiff joints, couldnt walk, wouldnt eat. Took a little over a week for meds to kick in. 2-3 more weeks to recover

It is usually a 1 month or 2 week minimum long regimen of the antibiotics. I was going to look for a link on the probiotics but I pretty sure any pro biotic is the same as any other in retrospect. They are a bit pricey but possibly your insurance should cover it also ? You may need the doc to prescribe it in order for the ins company to cover it though..

Good luck with everything speedy. It is a very good thing that you caught it quickly and not years later when the big serious issues occurred.

Looking foreward to follow up appts :)
the medicine i have is twice a day which came with 56 pills

Same here. Twice a day for 4 weeks. On my bottle it says to not eat 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking it. That didn't work for me, I was non stop hugging the john. I had to eat something light in order not to throw up. Still feel dizzy when I take it but its much much better. As far as the no sunlight, that's because 1 out of 10,000 people have a reaction (rash). I am in the sun daily so there is no way I can avoid it. Just make sure to drink PLENTY of water !

lol
yup i was just reading instructions again
talking about take with milk if it upsets your stomach
then it says HOWEVER it can bind with the medicine and not work so well
and it goes on talking about other things :)
