Great state of Maine
I just went out and started my Blaster after the long winter and after a series of kicks it started right up. I let it run for about 15 mins to warm up and get everything flowing again. I then left it in neutral and gave it some throttle and it just bogs down big time and if i keep the throttle up it will backfire and may or may not die. I changed the plug and put a new air filter on and it is still doing it. Any suggestions?

I would take the Carb off clean it all - remove all the jets firstand clean them orfices check the float level, while ya have the bowl off and- get fresh gas. That would be my first step.

Here's a trick I do to avoid problems like this.
Turn the gas off and let it idle until it runs out of gas.
No gas in the carb to jell up or crystallize.
I do it for everything generators, gas air compressor, lawn mowers, lawn tractors, weed wacker, my dirtbike, and the quad.

Only for a few seconds which isn't really enough to hurt anything. There is excess oil in the bottom end when you shut it off and it should enough as it runs out of gas.

Couldn't have said it better myself lol
If you are worried might I also suggest you remove your head and pre-lube your jug before you kick start her after a day :p

well I took everything off and cleaned it and it's now put back together, no pits/sand/dirt or anything. The outsides were dirty as heck but the insides were wicked clean. I took everything apart according to the instructions in the earlier post. I'm draining the gas out now and going to put some fresh stuff in in just a min, fingers crossed she'll start running right.

Alright put fresh gas in it and it's still doing it. i adjusted it so it idles right where it always has but the second you hit the throttle it just bogs down and starts to "chug" until it either dies or i let off. not sure where to go from here but i don't have the money to go to the dealership.
