Yes it is ... If you don't reinstall the reed stops you will be dealing with the same problem in no time ! Happy to hear it was a cheap and easy fix.

got my reeds today but it doesn't show in the instructions to put the pedal back on, they are dual stage reeds

Easy to do first clean the surface of the cage and screw holes with carb cleaner(removes oil,dirt so the petals lay flat and also cleans screw holes so locktight will set up correctly), lay the first set on with the holes then the petals over the holes, reed stop screws with locktight, give it a hour or so so the locktight can dry. Install cage I like to use a film of black rtv on the gasket to motor side tighten bolts in an "X" pattern using proper torque specs like 6ftlbs or something. Go ride.

Put some RTV on both the reed cage and carby boot and tighten to 5.8 ft lbs in an X pattern a little bit at a time on each bolt.

Do not over tighten as the flanges will warp and leak.

have them on now and was out testing today there seems to be a small power increase from mid to high but not much still feel the difference I:I

Possibly not an increase in power that you are experiencing but a much more responsive and snappier throttle.

yeah that's it, you can feel it jilt a bit more now when you give it throttle
