Easy to do first clean the surface of the cage and screw holes with carb cleaner(removes oil,dirt so the petals lay flat and also cleans screw holes so locktight will set up correctly), lay the first set on with the holes then the petals over the holes, reed stop screws with locktight, give it a hour or so so the locktight can dry. Install cage I like to use a film of black rtv on the gasket to motor side tighten bolts in an "X" pattern using proper torque specs like 6ftlbs or something. Go ride.

Put some RTV on both the reed cage and carby boot and tighten to 5.8 ft lbs in an X pattern a little bit at a time on each bolt.

Do not over tighten as the flanges will warp and leak.
