LOL. I keep saying stupid $ht, to my computer cause IE ain't showing me pics, keep having to restart IE. Stupid fn Microsoft, doesn't mix with alcoholi might have to logg off before i say stupid s_hit cuz it is beer thirty tonightmmmmmmm
get google chrome if you dont have it already,cuz it is way better,i thought it sucked at first until internet explore would no longer keep up
and i my friend know alot about computers if you cant tell that already lol

I can't bring myself to use chrome, it's just not what i'm used too, and won't run the toolbars i like to.
even though google is F'n with some things they control when using IE.
for example, gmail won't allow me to upload pics into my mail anymore using IE.
and youtube(google owned) is sometimes completely worthless on IE.
it's not IE's fault, it's google trying to force us to use their browser, to see their ads, to line their pockets !

i was devistated,i was forced to use chrome..no way around it ,once i got use to it i was happy as i was with internet eplorer..it does matter which windows/mac device you are using ,but...this windows vista made back in what 08 will no longer work,our newer windows 7 has decesead the same day we were doong the christmas comtest..all of my 3 labtop have crapped themselfs at some point and had to be brought back through command prompts/backing mother boards in oven,or restoring to factory condition,just my experience lately....if i could have keep ie i would have but since my pcs have kraped themselfs google chrome suits them best,do i still believe in ie..yes..but if not google chrome has been serving me more then well...sooo far

^^^me too, I wish I still had win98. IE has been making mad for awhile though, never had the pic problem til tonight. I don't know why but the zoom is always changing, but it is the same on the status bar. I go down and change it and change it back and it fixes it, temporarily. Oh well, no matter what we're lining somebodies pockets, bill gates surely don't need it either. I like to stick to what I know tho

Ive always liked 'bare bones" browsers. IE just tries to run to much stuff for my likeing. I found Chrome by accident back in late 09, and never looked back.
i took this 150 dollar craigslist pc completly part....cuz the video card slide on the solder/next to copper cooling fan/a hole sold me a bum pc.....it worked for a few months after backing motherboard in oven......but truly needs a new heat sink and video...im not intrested in manufactured effin design flaw,anymore it was truly a gift for my 13yrs old daighther to bad i cheaped out on a new one...grrr

right click on drive:c
go to tools
run the check disk/attempt to recover bad/sectors/fix automatically option...if pc is acking up,
if it is ok it will take 1hr.....if it is corrupt it will take like 3hrs.......google that s_hit my friends

.......google that s_hit my friendsI used to know a lot on pcs, everybody brought there's to me, but that was 15 years ago. I learned a lot at ITT too, but that was over 12 years ago, and I've stayed away from new stuff as long as possible. Its not as easy as it used to be. When I had 98 I kept a back up and would just wipe it 1 or twice a year, had that PC for 12 years, til my house burnt down. Granted it got slower every year because it couldn't keep up with tech advances and file sizes, but it was great. I can normally keep em up and running though and still help out friends sometimes. Just going through and wiping all the junk off once in awhile helps a lot. Its amazing how much crap some people accumulate. Sounds like you got a HP laptop speedy lol.
currently on a gateway...with 2 broken hps...that im no longer intrested in fixing....1 hp was 500 bucks 2 150 of craglists......first 1 i bought was 750bucks with printer/hd camera...whicj i know longer have...except printer and camera......but seriously folks...if your experiencing pc problems...i can def help...or point you in right direction.
whatever i bury my nose in good....more importntly free fixes,,,,cuz anyone can pay to have summin fixed lol
