There is no comparison between the WR250R and YZ250F/WR250F.How do you like the wr? Power wise compared to the yzf250. Different ratio tranny right?
Could have went down 1 tooth on front an up. A tooth or two on rear and probably use same length chain? Six on the back sprockets almost as big as your tiresThere is no comparison between the WR250R and YZ250F/WR250F.
The engine was a new design for Yamaha. The frame is "loosely" based on a mid-2000's YZ250, but that's it.
The only similarities are three numbers (250) and two letters (WR).
The trans has too wide of gears for aggressive woods riding, so that's why I went up 6 teeth on the rear sprocket.
The power is lacking, but very usable once you change the sprocket out. I love this bike more than my WR426 or the YZ250 I had. It's a huge laugh because it's porky and underpowered, but it will go anywhere YOU think it can go.
You can't go down in the front because it rubs the swingarm and will wear it down fast.Could have went down 1 tooth on front an up. A tooth or two on rear and probably use same length chain? Six on the back sprockets almost as big as your tires
That sucks. 6 is a big gearing change. Must be pretty noticeable on the roadYou can't go down in the front because it rubs the swingarm and will wear it down fast.
It's a dam tractor . probably pull stumps out and make a new trail. With the gearing you got now it should go anywhereThere is no comparison between the WR250R and YZ250F/WR250F.

Yes. Very. That sucks. 6 is a big gearing change. Must be pretty noticeable on the road
It's still a pig, but I can at least lift the front-end up a bit easier. I still suck at wheeliesIt's a dam tractor . probably pull stumps out and make a new trail. With the gearing you got now it should go anywhere
Yup. I got all my beer before everything closed...and then re-opened again because God forbid Monroe County can't get their alcohol. You want to talk about angry mountain people? Come up my way and remove all alcohol.I think i need a beer.crazy out there right now

You see, the Poconos and Florida aren't much different from each other.
I’m blowing the whole wadAny one buying parts for their bikes with their stimulus check? Not me .
Yeah right. If so whatcha getting?
I’m blowing the whole wad
On what? Women and wineI’m blowing the whole wad
Is that like a winter beater or something.some of those cheap little parts are labor hogsSurprisingly no. I'm most likely buying a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Base for $1200.
My Saab is the fun, rare car and the Silverado is HORRIBLE on gas. I need something fuel efficient that's kind of expendable and boring.
But $1200 for a 6-speed car that's only got one-owner ain't bad. It makes a clunk from the steering column, but it's an $8 part and a day of labor to fix. Not bad.
I have to remove the entire steering column to do it. The steering coupler went bad on it, so the guy wants to dump it. It's a bear of a job, but I think it would be worth it.Is that like a winter beater or something.some of those cheap little parts are labor hogs
For the price and you can do the job sounds like a good dealI have to remove the entire steering column to do it. The steering coupler went bad on it, so the guy wants to dump it. It's a bear of a job, but I think it would be worth it.
My Saab is 1 of 57 black 9-3 wagons for 2008. I'd like to keep the mileage off of it, plus it isn't the most efficient.
The Hyundai gets about 35MPG on average, plus parts are easy to find.
