The Tavern - Your Chatter Feed

Yeah, at least I'm right legally though. I'm hoping one of them tries to block the road, then I can call the cops on them! I could understand if we were raising hell or damaging property. Honestly its only a handful of days every year that we ride down and around there. Maybe I should start taking the blaster through everyday, so they know how lucky they have it!!
That's when you take the Blasty and do doughnuts right in his front yard. Woops the Tors wasn't working and the throttle got stuck .. Dang Yamaha and there TORS unit..

Just a heads up Dave.. Always, Always, Always send packages with tracking and insurance. It will save you a big headache if anyone ever says they never received a package or if they claim it was damaged. 99% of the time E bay sides with the buyer, even if they say "hey I got an empty box" but you darn well know the box wasn't empty. That's where the insurance comes in. It costs just a lil bit more to ship but on any pricier item it is 10000% worth it. Plus any item shipped priority mail comes automatically with $50 insurance,, then add xtra ins if needed. Also if you didn't know already, do your shipping labels right through e bay you get a discount.. Ohh and before you ever ship anything, make sure the FULL funds are in your pay pal.

So what if you get the insurance and they still say it showed up and the box was empty? or some other bull crap, how does the insurance protect the buyer? i'm interested cause im going to start selling as well. does the postal service refund you the amount of the product?

Friggen sucks, went to put my EX rear shock on and the bushings were too fat they wouldn't fit into the holes, just a tad too big. Gonna have to bring them back to Ken and shave them down a little. Was hoping to be a lil more soft tomorrow in the trails.
Has the frame been painted? If so or if the pc is thicker there you may just need to take a rat tail file and go around it a few times. I remember mine were snug. I did the same thing and tapped it in with a hammer.

Yea mine were tight too. I had to file the holes a little bigger, then just tap it in!

I tried with the Dremel a little bit but they are pretty big, like I can't even get them in the hole at all. Actually one side seemed bigger then the other so I thought maybe the holes weren't round but by eye they look good. I will give it another shot this weekend before bothering ken with it though.

YESSSSSSSS I finally got some works triple rate shocks coming at me ;-)

I didn't realize until after I bought them the guy lives a few towns over, prob could have picked them up to avoid the 15 dollar shipping and wait time but if he ships them tomorrow I will have them Saturday.

Here's what I've been working on this week. Came to Avon park fl to pick these and a truck up that my buddy inherited. Already got the little one up and running, head is off the big one and been sitting in the yard a few years, but its a roller lol. We been working at night on it. Fn hot down here

Soooo got the works on just have to get some clamps tomorrow to secure the remote rezzies, only took about 15 mins to do it and they are sweet. The 400ex shock on the other hand took me almost 2 friggen hours lol. Damn bushings would NOT go in but with some persuasion they did.

I didn't get to test it yet cause I finished at 10pm but just from sitting on it and jumping up and down they feel amazing, I feel like the whole quad sits higher too?

Dang those shocks were a sweet deal! Banshee and 400ex shocks are all a little longer then stock so it will be a little higher but not enough to hinder performance!! My bushings needed a little persuading as well lol. Can't wait to hear ride report!

Sad news maybe coming. I maybe trading the blaster. If it goes threw, I'll most likely be done with powersports.

What could you possibly trading the nasty blasty for that would make you be done with power sports completely? A tropical island stocked with beer and local women
